The Art
Kelly Maw
Artist. Teacher. Storyteller.
Layered acrylic and mixed-media paintings inspired by
the people, passions and connections that make life meaningful.
I paint to explore the stories, passions and connections that make us human.
Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, I layer colour, texture, imagery and found elements to create paintings that reveal something new with each closer look.
I want my paintings to feel like little discoveries — something that catches your eye, draws you in, and makes you pause long enough to wonder about the story hiding beneath the surface.
